We recommend a red school sweatshirt or cardigan with dark-coloured jogging bottoms or leggings.
During the summer term, children may wear a red gingham dress or dark-coloured shorts. Little Cherries jumpers can be purchased through our uniform supplier.
Children are offered a healthy selection of fruit and vegetables each day, with milk or water available to drink. Please send your child with a named water bottle.
We ask that children do not bring toys from home, as we have plenty of exciting resources for them to enjoy at preschool. Occasionally, we may invite children to bring in a special item linked to a theme or event, and we will let families know in advance.
Please contact the school office before 9:00am if your child will be absent. Regular attendance helps children settle into routines and prepares them for school life. Places may be reviewed where attendance is consistently low.
Please let us know about any medical conditions, allergies or additional health needs, including asthma, hearing or sight difficulties, and dietary requirements, so we can support your child effectively.
You should follow medical guidance if your child has any contagious medical condition. If your child has sickness and/or diarrhoea they should not return to school until 48 hours after the last bought.
We encourage children to be kind, respectful and inclusive, helping them build positive relationships and friendships. If difficulties arise, staff support children to resolve problems calmly and fairly, encouraging them to seek help rather than retaliate.
